Option 1: Fly & Drive

Fly into Campbell River Airport (YBL)
Pacific Coastal Airlines offers direct flights from Vancouver. -
Rent a vehicle at the airport or in town.
Option 2: Drive from Vancouver

Take a BC Ferry from Horseshoe Bay or Tsawwassen to Nanaimo.

Drive north to Campbell River (approximately 2 hours from Nanaimo).
Step 2: Quadra Island Ferry

From Campbell River, take the BC Ferry to Quadra Island.

This is a short, 10-minute drive-on ferry with frequent sailings.

No reservation required—simply arrive and pay at the terminal.
Step 3: Drive to Heriot Bay Marina

Once on Quadra Island, drive approximately 15 minutes to Heriot Bay Marina.

Free parking is available.

This is where we’ll meet you for your water taxi.
Step 4: Water Taxi to Sea Chalet

From Heriot Bay, enjoy a scenic 30-minute boat ride through the Discovery Islands.

Our captain will assist with loading your gear and drop you off at Sea Chalet’s private dock.
Water Taxi
Sea Chalet is accessible by boat or water taxi only.
We arrange guest transportation through our certified water taxi service, SS Funship.
Water taxi cost: $350 each way (up to 10 guests)
Pick-up & drop-off: Heriot Bay, Quadra Island
(A short ferry ride from Campbell River, BC)
Standard schedule
Check-in day: pickup 3:00 PM from Heriot Bay
Departure day : 11:00 AM on checkout day
